Artist's Description

Probably the ride that started it all, the Ford Model T, circa 1915-1927, affectionately dubbed the "T-Bucket", was the original souper-upper, with early 4-cylinder mills, quickly into the the 19, 21 & 24-stud flathead V8s from the Model As & Model Bs,then GM small blocks, Ford, GM & and the odd Chrysler 2nd & 3rd generation 8s on into the "Over-4" era (409s, 421s, 427s, 442s, 454s & the like).

They were the favorites of the street-rod and serious dragster set, even holding their own through the 70s/80s muscle-car utopia, and still are loved (there may be more kit-car repros, mostly plastic, out there than original all steel magnet-grabbers).

My sole criterion for selection of an image for inclusion here is that I be pleased to share it with others. I make no effort to make any art product appealing to everyone, so, if you think something is not your cup of tea, just meander along through my other offerings. If you find...
