About Lin Grosvenor
ART FU Itinerant image scavenger/prestidigitizer, with an eye for what pleases me (think: Francesca Bassington's drawing-room)... also perhaps one or two others. Vocation: Photographer errant, sedentary sketch artist, graphics tinkerer, picker, assembler, fool. That's interesting, Lin. If it did say Willcommen, I would assume it may have been a restauration from the original writing and therefore be some type of 'old German'. My comment was never meant to be critical, I was more thinking in helpful terms :)

Lin Grosvenor
All, true, though the sign above the alcove in which we ate said simply "Willcommen", so I was about 1/2 correct (slightly better than my career average). I shall adjust it, thanks for the help.

I hope you dont mind me commenting - obviously feel free to delete this comment. It is 'Willkommen' and the description would most likely be 'Willkommen im Gasthaus' :)

All better, now, methinks.
